Work

Reggie was released in March 2000.  We don’t have any writings from this period.  We know from his jail writings that Reggie had returned to dealing but a low level, but from all appearances, he was trying to find a full time job.

He was also living in Souris, and although he tried to find a job in Avionics at Slemon Park in Summerside, he was not successful.

During this time period, he did have a job with the PEI Department of Highways doing roadwork in 2001 and 2002.

We don't know much about this application for government assistance, but we can see that the application was turned down, appealed, and then turned down again.

Reg was having a difficult time finding work in PEI, and this ultimately led him to leave to search for work in Toronto.

The following images are the apeal letter that this latter had rejected.  In the letter, you can see that Reg uses some pretty inflamatory statements, which did not help his case:
